报告摘要:

The arrival of multi-messenger cosmology provided us various probes on the very early universe. Several theoretical challenges then arise for the developments of cosmological perturbation theory within the linear approximation. However, the searches for some primordial relics, such as stochastic gravitational waves and primordial black holes, have drawn many attentions on the nonperturbative dynamics of the very early universe. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the recent progresses on the study of primordial black holes and the induced stochastic gravitational waves and their features at small length scales. Particularly, I will focus on the resonance effects of primordial fluctuations depicted by the Mathieu equation and the applications to the enhancement of small-scale power spectrum. Additionally, I will also introduce the latest limit of the scalar-induced gravitational waves by virtue of the pulsar timing array observations. These studies shall lead to potentially new observational window for us to probe new physics.

报告人简介:

蔡一夫,中国科学技术大学教授,入选教育部国家重大人才工程,主持科技部国家重点研发计划引力波专项,担任中国天文学会理事、安徽省天文学会秘书长。获得过国家创新人才青年项目、基金委优青、中国天文学会黄授书奖等。研究领域是粒子宇宙学。兴趣集中在宇宙起源、大尺度结构的早期形成、暗物质暗能量等方面。
